Roberto García

Roberto García is a Spanish yoga instructor dedicated to the study and practice of traditional Haṭha Yoga, with particular focus on Yoga Sangraha, Sivananda Yoga, and Yoga Therapy. He is the founder of Kulavidyā, and his journey into yoga began in 2015, when he made the life-changing decision to move from fear toward freedom. This path led him to India, where he discovered that yoga invites us to move from comfort into discomfort—and back again. For Roberto, this cycle became both a metaphor for life and a deep call to surrender fully to the yogic path.

His training included over a thousand hours of yoga education with respected teachers such as Eddie Stern, Prof. R.S. Bhogal, Harshvardhan Jhaveri, Sri B.N.S. Iyengar, Sajeevan Arakkal, and Sharat Arora. Yet, despite this extensive education, Roberto holds that true understanding arises through personal experience. Yoga, in his eyes, is not simply a physical discipline, but a lifelong toolkit for navigating the challenges and joys of daily life.

Roberto’s classes emphasize accessibility, presence, and inner alignment. He supports students in cultivating awareness in the body, expanding the breath, and arriving into stillness—creating space for transformation and insight.

He holds diplomas from several renowned yoga institutions, including Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute, Yoga Education College, Mysore Krishnamacharya Yoga Foundation, Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre (HIYC), and Shanti Yoga in Kerala.
