Roberto García
Yoga Instructor | Pranayama | Yoga Traditions | Yoga Therapy
Roberto Garcia is a Spanish yoga instructor with a focus on traditional yoga practices, including Sivananda Yoga, Aided Hatha with Props, and Yoga Therapy. As the founder of Kulavidyā, Roberto’s yogic journey began in 2015, when he chose to move from fear to freedom and journeyed to India, where he discovered that yoga teaches you to move from comfort to discomfort and back again—a beautiful metaphor for life and an invitation to surrender to the path of yoga.
Roberto’s extensive training spans over 1000 hours, with studies under revered teachers such as Sajeevan Arakkal Manoharan in Kerala, Sri B.N.S. Iyengar in Mysore, Sharat Arora in Dharamshala, and Prof. R.S. Bhogal at the Kaivalyadham Institute in Lonavla. Despite this wealth of knowledge, Roberto believes that true understanding of yoga comes from personal practice and experience. To him, yoga is not just a physical practice but a toolkit for navigating all aspects of life.
Through his teaching, Roberto strives to make yoga accessible to all, guiding his students to cultivate alignment and care within the body. His classes encourage focus, allowing students to settle into stillness, expand their breath, and fully surrender to the transformative experience of yoga.e, expanding the breath and surrendering to the experience of yoga.
